How can I learn to dance without lessons?

How can I teach myself to dance without having to go to lessons. Im interseted in hip hop.
Just watch tv channels that show dances. You can learn from it. One thing, it’s in the music.

watch some dancing movies.
some of them will explain how they do it (not to you of course, but if its teaching to dance thing, they will teach the student)

if you have a photographic memory then you can watch like "step up" and "honey" and currently out is "how she move"… there is also a whole bunch of how to dance hip hp videos… and you can go on you tube… there also is "stomp the yard"

I would recommend that someone who wants to learn a style of dance to take at least a few lessons in that style. There are just too many things that you can learn in a live dance class that you won’t learn from a website or video. If you aren’t sure about classes, try to find a studio in your area where they have hip hop classes. You can ask them questions about their classes (i.e. ages, male/female ratio, etc.) and they may let you observe a class before you actually sign up for any lessons. If you can’t observe a class, you may be able to watch a performance and try to speak with students about the classes that they take, where the classes are, and what they like about the classes.

there are plenty of dance movies too watch and there is a new show that airs on mtv maybe you can learn frum it

You can watch hip hop dance movies like You got served or Rise and you can watch music videos like Usher’s.
