what do i wear to my first modern jazz dance lesson?

help?! the woman never mentioned on the phone, should i wear trakkies or jeggings? and what about on my feet?x
You should wear form fitting clothes. The teacher will want to see your lines so make sure you wear either jazz pants, leggings, or shorts that aren’t super baggy. And on your feet you should wear jazz shoes (if you have them) or maybe some socks so you can turn easily.

well obviously you need to wear jazz shoes. if you don’t have them, buy them from a dance store or from your studio. some studios have rules about what you can and can’t wear. if you’re not taking lessons from a studio but rather taking private lessons, just wear comfortable sweatpants or leggings with a loose but not baggy shirt.
